A home routine so your balayage keeps its light
26 July 2026
Balayage is designed in the salon, but it ages in your bathroom. The routine should be consistent, not complicated.
After balayage the colour is done; next you keep reflection, feel and shine. You do not need a crowded bathroom, just the right basics.
Wash less aggressively
Harsh shampoos strip toner and dry the fibre. For lightened hair we recommend gentler formulas, often without strong sulphates.
A mask on a calendar
Once a week, mid-lengths to ends, with real processing time. If the hair is very porous, we adjust the plan in the salon.
Heat with protection
Straighteners and tongs change colour more than people think. Heat protection does not prevent everything, but it reduces damage and dullness.
Tone before you redo
When balayage fades, it does not always need another bleach. A professional toner can recover the shade and delay a bigger retouch.
